School Lunch Order features generate funds for New Zealand kura!

The Dollar For School's mission, with your help, is to become one of the largest sponsors of NZ Schools.

Our sponsorship criteria is that these funds are put towards 3 discretionary school funding areas: capital improvements, teachers aides and classroom resources. This serves our business purpose which is to help NZ tamariki receive the best schooling experience possible no matter what ability, challenges or privilege they have.

How it works for Schools

The School Lunch Orders feature allows schools to offer parents and teachers Monday to Friday lunch orders with $1 contributed to the school for every order. This is likely to be hundreds of dollars per week added to a school fundraising tally, all while providing an essential service for parents! In addition there is also School Payments and Communications suite functionality, making Dollar For Schools not only an effortless fundraising tool, but a one-stop-shop, single login platform for parents and schools to engage with each other.

Dollar For Schools purpose is to help NZ tamariki receive the best schooling experience possible no matter what ability, challenges or privilege they have.
We have developed the Dollar For Schools App to help raise precious funds for your school by making it easy for parents to contribute without changing their buying habits.
Schools can also utilise the My School feature which includes Monday to Friday Lunch ordering, school shop for payments as well as a communications suite for permissions, calendars, classroom sharing and much more.
To maximise fundraising and give parents a one-system platform schools can make use of all of our features. The end result is more discretionary funding for teacher aides, teaching resources and non-funded capital improvements, whilst simultaneously providing essential services for parents.

How it works for Sellers

Sellers have either one or two options to increase sales and help raise funds for schools.

School Lunch Orders is another option for food sellers. Your store could be supplying weekly lunches to the kids and teachers of your local schools. As a School Lunch Seller you will be able to specify how many schools you supply so you can control how many orders you can manage per week within your capacity.

Seller Benefits

By registering as a Dollar For Schools Seller, you are gaining direct marketing and exposure for your business to the targeted audience of schools, parents, teachers and community members in your local area for free.
Schools are highly motivated to send this audience to your business to buy, as it creates fundraising for the school. This is potentially a large increase in revenue for your business as the programme takes off and gains momentum.
As schools sign up to the programme, parents will be encouraged to use the App as the preferred payment method for everyday transactions; such as picking up dinner on the way home, coffee before work or ordering a school lunch.
Participating sellers will be displayed on the Dollar For Schools App, at no cost. Your business will be visible to every participating parent from the schools in your local area.
Parents will be glad to know that by ordering from you, their school and ultimately their tamariki will directly benefit from purchasing through your store.
